Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper for easy removal and cleanup.
Carefully slice each croissant in half horizontally. Add about 1/4 cup of the cookie dough, placing it in large chunks within the center of each croissant. Divide the remaining half cup of cookie dough into four portions, pressing two portions lightly on top of each croissant.
Arrange the prepared croissants on the lined baking tray. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the cookie dough begins to brown slightly around the edges. Allow them to cool for about 5 minutes before serving.
