Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened to room temperature
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 8 ounces frozen whipped topping thawed
  • ½ cup fresh strawberries diced
  • 3 tablespoons strawberry ice cream topping
  • Assorted dipping items such as strawberries, cookies, graham crackers, or pretzels

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar. Beat the mixture until it is smooth and creamy.
  • Gently fold the thawed whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture until fully blended.
  • Add the majority of the diced fresh strawberries to the mixture, folding them in just enough to distribute them evenly. Reserve the remaining strawberries for topping.
  • Drizzle the strawberry ice cream topping generously over the dip and gently fold it in, leaving some of the topping visible on top for an extra burst of flavor.
  • Serve with an assortment of your favorite dipping treats, such as fresh strawberries, cookies, graham crackers, or pretzels.

Notes

Store any leftover dip in the refrigerator, covered with plastic wrap, for up to five days. Discard after five days for the best freshness.
For a more visually appealing presentation, use firmer strawberries for dipping and the softer ones in the dip itself.
If you enjoy the taste of strawberry cheesecake, top the dip with graham cracker crumbs. They provide a delightful crunch and a hint of sweetness that enhances the overall flavor.
