Pumpkin Spiced Latte

My husband has a deep fondness for Starbucks® Pumpkin Spice Lattes, prompting me to develop this recipe so we could enjoy them without overspending. I have prepared these lattes countless times for guests, earning a bit of a reputation within our extended family. Best of all, there's no need for an espresso machine!

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups hot whole milk
  • 6 ounces double-strength brewed coffee
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 4 teaspoons white sugar
  • 3 tablespoons sweetened whipped cream
  • 3 pinches pumpkin pie spice

Instructions
 

  • In a blender, combine the hot milk, white sugar, vanilla extract, and pumpkin pie spice. Blend the mixture until it becomes frothy.
  • Pour the frothy mixture into three coffee mugs, filling them about two-thirds full.
  • Add 2 ounces of brewed coffee to each mug.
  • Finally, garnish each latte with a dollop of sweetened whipped cream and a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice on top.
