Begin by placing the candy wafers into a small, heatproof bowl positioned over a saucepan filled with approximately 2 inches of simmering water. Ensure that the bottom of the bowl does not come into contact with the water. Adjust the heat to maintain a gentle simmer, stirring the candy intermittently until it is fully melted. Once melted, carefully remove the bowl from the heat source.
Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper. Arrange the mini pretzels on the parchment, ensuring there is adequate space between each one. Using a small spoon, carefully fill the center of each pretzel with the melted candy, creating a pumpkin-like shape bordered by the pretzel. If the candy begins to solidify during this process, simply reheat it over the simmering water until it reaches a smooth consistency again.
After all pretzels are filled, if necessary, reheat the candy once more, then transfer it into a piping bag fitted with a very small round tip. Pipe a decorative line around the orange filling to accentuate the pumpkin shape, followed by vertical lines from the top to the bottom of the pretzel to resemble the ridges of a pumpkin. Finally, place a small dot of melted candy at the point where the arches meet at the top, and insert a piece of green sour straw as a stem. Allow the pretzels to cool for approximately 30 minutes until the candy has set, then gently peel them off the parchment paper and store them in an airtight container.
