Ingredients
Method
- 1 tablespoon freshly chopped parsley
- Directions
- Preheat your air fryer to 390°F (200°C) for approximately 5 minutes, or as recommended by the manufacturer.
- In a small mixing bowl, combine the ground cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, salt, and black pepper. In another bowl, whisk the egg until fully blended. Spread the finely chopped pecans evenly on a plate.
- Prepare each pork chop by dipping it first into the egg mixture, ensuring complete coverage. Next, press both sides of the chop firmly into the pecans until well-coated. Lightly spray each coated chop on both sides with cooking spray.
- Arrange the pork chops in the air fryer basket, ensuring they do not overlap. Cook for 6 minutes, then carefully turn them over using tongs. Continue air frying for an additional 6 minutes or until the pork is no longer pink in the center. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
This method yields pork chops cooked to medium doneness. A 5.8-quart air fryer accommodates four chops comfortably. If using a smaller air fryer, prepare in batches, keeping earlier batches warm in an oven preheated to a low temperature. Adjustments may be necessary based on the specific design and performance of your air fryer.
