Ingredients

  • 8 chicken tenderloins
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

Instructions

  • Begin by combining all the ingredients in a mixing bowl. Stir until well incorporated. Cover the bowl and allow the mixture to sit for at least 5 minutes, or up to 20 minutes, to enhance the flavor absorption.
  • While the marinade is infusing, preheat your grill or barbecue to medium heat. If using a grill pan, ensure it is lightly greased and heated properly.
  • Once the grill is ready, place the chicken tenderloins on it. Grill for approximately 3 to 4 minutes per side, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F, ensuring it is fully cooked.
  • After grilling, remove the chicken tenders from the heat and serve them immediately for optimal flavor and texture.

Notes

Storage: Store any leftover grilled chicken tenders in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
