- Begin by gathering all necessary ingredients.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, eggs, olive oil, and salt, stirring until the mixture is well blended. Gradually incorporate water, adding one teaspoon at a time, until a smooth and thick dough forms.
- Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for approximately 10 minutes. Allow the dough to rest for 5 to 10 minutes.
- Divide the dough into eight equal portions; then, with a pasta machine, roll and cut the dough into your desired pasta shape.
Notes
Cook’s Note: This dough is perfect for crafting homemade linguine or ravioli using a manual pasta machine. If you find the dough to be overly sticky, simply roll it in a little extra flour. This recipe yields enough pasta for 24 small ravioli or four servings of linguine. Regardless of the pasta shape you choose, it should boil in no more than 4 to 6 minutes.
