Ingredients

  • - 1-2 pounds ground beef
  • - 1 large cabbage
  • - 2 small onions diced
  • - 1 large bunch of celery finely chopped
  • - 2 cans of stewed tomatoes
  • - 1 pouch of Lipton Onion Soup Mix any variety
  • - Water

Instructions

  • Start by filling a large saucepan halfway with water and bringing it to a vigorous boil. Once the water is boiling, carefully add the diced onions, chopped cabbage, and finely chopped celery. Lower the heat, allowing the mixture to simmer gently.
  • As the vegetables simmer, cook the ground beef in a separate pan, ensuring it is thoroughly browned. Once cooked, drain any excess fat to avoid an overly greasy texture.
  • Next, combine your preferred seasonings and the Lipton Onion Soup Mix with the simmering vegetable mixture. Stir well to blend the flavors.
  • Finally, incorporate the browned ground beef into the soup. Let it simmer for a few more minutes to ensure the flavors meld together harmoniously. Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary, then serve the soup while it is hot and flavorful.

Notes

This robust cabbage soup offers a delightful warmth, perfect for cooler days.
